Surusumi no Sato Ryokan Kugo's 'Surusumi' is a legendary horse name found throughout Japan. / It was the beloved horse of Minamoto no Yoshitsune's general, Kajiwara no Genta Kageoki, and excelled in battles such as the 'Ujigawa' battle against the Minamoto no Yoshinaka forces in 1184. / At that time, Minamoto no Yoshitsune's general Kajiwara Kageoki rode 'Surusumi' while Sasaki no Shirō Takatsuna rode 'Ikeduki' to compete in the vanguard.
