Take the JR Takayama Main Line from Takayama Station to Shinhotaka Onsen via Nohi Bus (1 hour 35 minutes), and walk from the final stop

By Car

From Nagano Expressway Matsumoto I.C, take National Route 158 towards Kamikochi and Takayama. After passing Anboshi Tunnel, turn right at the first signal towards Toyama. Continue on National Route 471, cross the Kamata River, and turn right towards Shinhotaka at the intersection, arriving at Shinhotaka Bus Terminal, in front of the stop
