By Train

Take the JR Soya Line from Wakkanai Station to Otoineppu, then transfer to the Hamatonbetsu-bound bus (2.5 hours) and walk 15 minutes from the Hamatonbetsu stop

By Car

From Asahikawa, head north on Route 40, then transfer to Route 275 at Otoineppu and continue north. Turn left at the sign for Lake Kutcharo Observatory after entering Hamatonbetsu town, and you'll find the onsen by the lake.
