By Train

From JR Sapporo Station, take the limited express on the Chitose and Muroran lines to JR Noboribetsu Station. From Noboribetsu Station, take the Donan Bus bound for Noboribetsu Onsen, get off at the last stop, and then take the bus bound for Toya Lake Onsen and Karurusu Onsen, getting off at Karurusu Onsen. During winter, take the Sun Palace Ski Resort-bound bus and get off at Karurusu Onsen, with a total travel time of about 2 hours.

By Car

Approx. 120km from Sapporo. Take the Hokkaido Expressway, exit at Noboribetsu East IC, and proceed on Route 2 (Toya Noboribetsu Line) towards Orofure Pass. Pass the post office on your right, turn left before the Yakushi Shrine, cross the Noboribetsu River bridge, and immediately turn left up the slope. Approx. 12Km from Noboribetsu East IC, total travel time is about 1 hour 50 minutes.
