Shibu Onsen Outdoor Bath Ku-ban-yu, Oo-yu

Description

Representing Shibu Onsen, this is a famous hot spring discovered by Kukai, a renowned Buddhist monk. After bathing, visitors can climb to Yakushi-do Hall to pray to the Yakushi Buddha. Known for its healing properties, especially for neuralgia and rheumatism. The rooftop offers a foot bath using the same source spring, and a steam bath utilizing the underground spring's vapor. The iron-rich, brown hot spring is a Sodium-Calcium Sulfate-Chloride Spring (low-tonicity, neutral, high-temperature).
